The Philadelphia Junior Tour kicked off the fall season with five tournaments in September. Inside is a tribute to Arnold Palmer, tips on thinking positive on the golf course and a Rules of Golf reminder.
PJT member registration is still open. To participate in the remaining tournaments this year, a junior must become a member, be 10-18 years of age and not in college. The PJT recommends all juniors playing 18-holes should consistently score 110 or lower and for 9-holes, 60 or lower. To register for membership, please click the link above.
Tournaments are administered in Eastern PA, Southern NJ, all of DE and parts of northeast MD. There are 80 tournaments available for juniors to improve their nationally ranking, gain tournament experience and build their resume for high school and collegiate golf and qualify for nationally ranked tournaments. Providing a fun and invaluable opportunities to get out and play, the junior golf program leads the region in competitive junior golf. The Philadelphia Section Junior Tour’s membership consists of junior golfers 18 years of age and younger. These young golfers represent all geographic areas of the Philadelphia Section.
